Where our heads are — not a set of promises, and deliberately without dates.

This is not a commitment.A roadmap with dates on it is a promise made on behalf of a future you who doesn't yet know what will break. Priorities move, things in “Exploring” get abandoned, and we would rather tell you that up front than quietly delete a row later. Nothing here should influence a purchase — buy Inkwell for what it already does. If you want the things we decided against, and why, that's a longer read.

Plan limits, enforcedThe pricing page advertises caps on clients and AI prompts. Nothing enforces them yet. Honest software means the limits are real or the page stops claiming them.
Data export, self-serveExport is promised in the Privacy Policy and the Handbook. It should be one button in Settings, not an email to us.
Two-factor authenticationAvailable for accounts that want it, required for nothing.

ImportersBringing a notebook in from Notion, Trello or a pile of Markdown. We won't link to an importers page until one exists.
A public APIOnly worth building once we know what you'd call. Tell us what you'd automate.
Recurring invoicesRetainer clients bill the same amount every month, and doing it by hand is a chore.
Offline captureThe one thing paper still does better. Hard to do well; worth doing properly or not at all.
