Changelog

What we've shipped, in words you can check. You will not find “performance improvements and bug fixes” on this page.

10 July 2026

Legal, and a tidier interior

  • NewTerms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Security and Cookie pages — written to be read, not skimmed past.
  • NewAdmin impersonation for support, with every privileged action written to an audit log.
  • ImprovedEvery modal in the app now shares one component, so they close, focus and stack the same way.
9 July 2026

Billing, and knowing what you paid for

  • NewSubscriptions. Pick a plan from Settings → Billing, start a 14-day trial, manage your card or cancel from Paddle's portal.
  • NewPlan entitlements — your workspace now knows which plan it's on, and says so honestly.
  • NewExpenses. Log costs against a project to see margin, not just revenue.
  • ImprovedCheckout failures now tell you what actually went wrong instead of 'something went wrong'.
  • FixedAuth codes delivered to the site root — from email confirmation links — are forwarded to the callback instead of landing on the marketing page.
8 July 2026

Sign in with one click

  • NewGoogle and GitHub sign-in, in a popup, so the page you were on stays where it was. Your real name and avatar come along.
  • ImprovedA proper pass over mobile: the layout, the navigation and the chat all behave on a phone now.
7 July 2026

Talking to clients

  • NewComments on tasks, milestones, documents and meetings — each one internal or client-visible, and internal is the default.
  • NewA message thread inside every client portal.
  • ImprovedPortal file handling: clients can upload, and you can see what they sent.
19 June 2026

Boards

  • NewAn infinite canvas for when the shape of the idea isn't a list. Drawings autosave; there is no save button.
  • FixedThe board editor now takes the full viewport instead of fighting the sidebar.
16–18 June 2026

Focus, AI, and a design system that behaves

  • NewA focus timer that survives a page reload, a closed laptop, and a second device.
  • NewBring your own AI key — Gemini, OpenAI or Anthropic — in Settings → AI. It's stored encrypted and never returned to the browser.
  • NewAccent colours, font pairings and density, so the notebook can look like your notebook.
  • NewReal 404 and error pages, instead of the framework's.
4 June 2026

The client portal grows up

  • NewClients sign in with a password to a private portal: milestones, shared documents, invoices, and nothing else.
  • NewBranded emails for signup confirmation and password reset.
  • ImprovedErrors across sign-in and file upload now say something a human can act on.
30 May 2026

Everything became real

  • NewThe whole app moved off mock data and onto a live database: tasks, time, habits, journal, goals, meetings, documents, inbox, invoices and analytics.
  • NewLive collaboration — changes appear as they happen, without a refresh.
  • NewFile storage for documents, and invoices you can actually send.
  • ImprovedRow-level security tested end to end: one workspace cannot read another's rows, and there's a test that proves it.
✳

Wondering what's next? The roadmapsays what we're thinking about — and deliberately refuses to say when. If something here shipped and you want how any of it actually works, the handbook has it, and you can always check system statusfor what's running right now.
