The whole personal notebook is free forever, for one person, with no card. You pay only when you start working with clients: Folio adds client records, private portals, invoicing and expenses; Studio adds up to five people in one workspace. Both paid plans start with a 14-day trial.
Start free forever. Upgrade only when you're winning.
The personal notebook is free forever, for one person, with no card. Folio is $12 a month, or $9 a month billed yearly, and adds clients, private portals, invoicing and expenses. Studio is $24, or $19 billed yearly, for up to 5 people in one workspace.
Not for the free plan. Sketch is free forever, for one person, and asks for nothing — no card, no trial clock, no expiry. Folio and Studio start with a 14-day free trial and do take a card up front, but nothing is charged until the trial ends.
We email you before the last day. If you do nothing, the plan starts and the card is charged. If you cancel before then, no payment is taken and there is nothing to refund. And if you forget, get charged, and never used it — tell us and we refund it.
Any time, from Settings → Billing. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep the paid features until the period you have already paid for runs out. Cancel an annual plan mid-term and we refund the unused whole months.
A workspace is one separate notebook — its own projects, clients, tasks and journal, sealed off from any other. Sketch gives you one, just you. Folio lifts the limit, and Studio adds up to 5 people who share one. Most people never need a second.
The notebook itself is not. You get projects, tasks, time, docs, boards, the mind-map, journal, habits, goals, calendar and analytics in full. Sketch is one workspace for one person, and the AI sidekick is capped at 30 assists a month. Clients, portals and invoicing are the paid part.
The full terms are in the refund policy and the plans and billing section of the Terms. If you are weighing up what the paid side actually gives you, the client portals and time and invoicing sections show it working, the handbook explains workspaces, and how we protect your data covers the part nobody asks about until it matters.
